Even with busy schedules and many demands, Stratfordites still need to eat! Meals are served as a house at specific times, but girls can sign up for lates (lunch or dinner placed in the fridge with their name on it) if they have class or another commitment. Leftovers are also placed in the fridge, and fruit or other snacks are often left out on the counter. Stratfordites never go hungry!
Meals Served at Stratford House BREAKFAST: every morning Cereal and granola bars (and varying foods such as oatmeal, bread for toast, fruit, yogurt, eggs, and other breakfast items) are bought by the commies and able to be eaten at any time of the day or night throughout the week. Coffee and juices are also made in the mornings. LUNCH: Monday - Saturday at 12:05 p.m ~ Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Lunches vary throughout the week, and are served everyday at 12:05 p.m. Lates are placed in the fridge for the girls who aren't home and would like lunch saved for them. On Sunday's, Koinonia comes over and we eat lunch together. DINNER: Monday - Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Dinners vary throughout the week, and are served every evening at 5:30 p.m. Lates are placed in the fridge for girls who aren't home and would like dinner saved for them. On Saturday evening, Stratford eats dinner at Koinonia. On Sunday evening, a meal is not served but there are many leftovers from the week in the fridge.
A Sample Meal Schedule Meals for the week are sent out on Saturdays so that girls can plan accordingly. The commie takes all allergies into consideration (meals in red are meals in which only a red meat option is given) and will work to make sure the house as a whole has food they enjoy.
